Welcome to Arkle Angus. We are a family enterprise building a major farming operation in Western Australia – Arkle Farms. We operate a mixed farming enterprise consisting of our angus stud, a commercial sheep flock and broadacre cropping. Arkle Angus is a cornerstone of our business.
We are building Arkle Angus to be a premier provider of Angus genetics in Western Australia. Our stud herd is based around a key foundation herd acquired from Cherylton Farms in January 2020, comprising over 500 breeders, heifers, calves and bulls.
To further add to the genetics we can offer our customers in Western Australia and further afield, we purchased Millah Murrah Paratrooper P15 in September 2019. We partnered with ABS Australia to commercialise the semen rights of Paratrooper both domestically and globally. Paratrooper is demonstrating his value daily, becoming the biggest selling first-year bull ABS Australia has ever had in terms of revenue.
